Today I’m going to talk about Nail polish. Nail polish today is a weaker version of the paint that we find on cars and other vehicles. A lot of nail polishes are made from Nitrocellulose that is dissolved in a solvent and then different colours are added. The colours are added to the nail polish to make them more appealing to the person that is going to buy them. Nail polish comes in a variety of different colours from blues to pink to oranges; you can get it in any colour you want really?
*Nitrocellulose is a highly flammable compound that is formed by nitrating cellulose through exposure to nitric acid *
* Nitrating – nitration is a Chemical Process for the introduction of a Nitro group into an organic Chemical compound *

Ok guys, to start off my Blog I’m going to talk about Plastic and how it is made. Plastic is made from Crude Oil and Petroleum which is Oil found in many oil producing countries through-out the world, like America, Russia and many more! Petroleum is made from 2 kinds of atoms - Carbon (C) and Hydrogen (H). How plastic is made: "The production of plastic begins with a distillation process in an oil refinery. The distillation process involves the separation of heavy crude oil into lighter groups called fractions."
